Sad Business
A few weeks back Zena Dubray from Melbourne sent up some custom stickers as a thanks for our scattered support of each other and print trades. Zena is a super talented multi-disciplinary artist carving her own path in the Melbourne art scene. From customising her own clothes, graphic artwork, photography, modelling, street art and visual art there’s not much she can’t do and do amazingly well. Zena’s work explores themes around street art, sex work, empowerment, mental health and equality.
As a thanks for the stickers Jordyn and I decided to setup a little shoot before the stickers found their way to their permanent homes. It’s something I’ve been wanting to play with for ages and this seemed like the perfect excuse to do so. All the photos were shot in our home studio using continuous lighting and a couple reflectors, coffee’s in hand and some Numb and Encore blasting in the background. I hope you enjoy.
